On May 19th of this year, I saved my friend Joe's life...

I went out for my morning mocha.

While I was waiting for them to bring it to me, I noticed my friend Joe was slumped over in a very awkward position at the table outside of the DD.

I called his name, and he didn't reply.

I got out of my van and went to check on him. His blue-colored lips told me that something was very wrong.

My training kicked it, and I immediately called 911.

While I waited for help to arrive, I gave Joe 2 doses of Narcan.

Help arrived and they gave him 2 or 3 more doses before he came to.

I am so thankful that our Patty works endlessly to get Narcan into the hands of everyday people.

You never, ever know when someone is going to need your help.

I don't know how Joe is doing. I haven't seen or heard from him since that day, but I pray that he is alive and doing well.

Please consider joining us TOMORROW for our NARCAN Training and HERO’s Hidden in Plain Sight Trailer. Details are in the flyer below.

Because everyone deserves a second chance. Even if it's the 10th second chance.
