& OVERDOSE PREVENTION

The only thing Naloxone enables is breathing.

The only thing Naloxone enables is breathing.

Almost Home…

has expanded the organization’s missions to address the current opioid epidemic, which is killing 130 of our loved ones every day. By 2025, that number is expected to increase by 147%.

Almost Home has been certified through the State of Illinois as a Drug Overdose Prevention Program and has secured naloxone. Patty strives to train and educate our community about these live saving measures available.

Director of Overdose Prevention & Addictions Outreach: PATTY ELLISON

This is Aidan.

His mother, Patty Ellison, joined the Almost Home family at the beginning of 2019 with a mission to remove the stigma from addiction.

Patty wanted to offer services to those struggling with addiction, as well as their loved ones. Without judgment.

And she wanted to save lives.

Patty lost Aidan to an opioid overdose on December 6th, 2017. He was just 22 years old.

Progress toward Patty's dream of stigma free services and widespread access to naloxone.

Because everyone deserves a second chance.

Even if it's their tenth second chance.

Naloxone saves lives.

And the only thing it "enables" - is breathing.
